What a typical day looks like at Elysia Wellness Retreat?

Start your day

Start your day immersed in the environment, and breathe clear country air while gently waking your body up with tai chi atop Meditation Hill. This is the perfect way to welcome the day and build your chi (energy) as you clear your mind each morning.

HIT THE POOL OR TAKE A WALK

Try ‘Deep Water Running’ in the indoor pool or take a group walk and explore the environment around the retreat. Along the walk, you’ll see the local wildlife and flora as you have the opportunity to meet and mingle with other retreat guests.

DAILY PROGRAM

Choose from a full program of low, medium or high intensity movement activities, daily stretch and mobility classes, a cooking demonstration, mindfulness sessions and more, which take place throughout the day.

SEMINARS & WORKSHOPS

Participate in a daily program of health education seminars and empowering workshops, including: Preparing for Change, Movement that Matters, Building Resilience, Personal Action Plan, What We Eat, Women’s Health, Men’s Health and Let’s Talk About Sleep.

SPA & WELLBEING EXPERIENCE

Here at Elysia, we encourage you to have a spa experience, not just a treatment. The day spa is a haven of relaxation, beauty and healing. Enjoy a Classic Facial or Swedish massage, or you can choose from over 50 beauty treatments and massage therapy experiences.

Sit down to a hearty, nutritious meal

You will be eating sensibly portioned, healthy and nutritious wholefoods at well-spaced mealtimes. Mindful eating is encouraged to help you slow down so you can appreciate what you have and be more in the moment.

Explore the facilities, have a hit of tennis, or a personal training session in the fully equipped gymnasium. Everything is at your doorstep, even a 25-metre indoor and resort-style outdoor pool, as well as spas, steam rooms and relaxation lounge areas.

One-on-one Wellbeing Sessions

Learn more about yourself and important self-care through our one-on-one wellbeing sessions. Conducted by some of Australia’s most skilled practitioners in the fields of naturopathy, physiotherapy, acupuncture, hypnotherapy, kinesiology, Feldenkrais and more, your personal transformation often begins here.

GUEST SPEAKERS

Each Saturday night, you can learn and be motivated by one of our various guest speakers, including leading authors, health and wellness experts or a sporting great. Every other dinner and evening offer a fun or informative activity in the theatre.

RELAX & UNWIND

Retreat to the comfortable, secure surrounds of your private villa to disconnect from the world, read a book, soak in the tub or relax and have a rejuvenating night’s sleep.
